How we choose the bell together
The right bell is not always the biggest one. Before we suggest a size and a note, we look at:
- The bell tower — its openings, its strength, and where and how the bell will hang.
- How far it must be heard — a village, a city neighbourhood or a remote monastery.
- The bells you already have — so that the new one matches their notes and they ring in harmony together.
- How it will be rung — by hand, with an electromagnetic striker, with a swing motor or with an automatic bell-ringing system.
- What it will say — the name of the church, its saint, the year, the donors, relief images.
In Greece we visit the church, listen to the existing bells and make you a proposal free of charge; abroad, we advise from photos and measurements.
