Bell not ringing? Clock stopped? Before you call us, try the simple checks below — and if that does not solve it, we come to your church wherever it is in Greece; abroad we advise from photos and measurements.
Fault guide
If… then…
Simple checks the sexton can make safely. Do not open electrical panels (230 V).

| Nothing works, the screen is blank | Check the church’s main switch and fuse, then the fuse of the controller. If everything is fine, call us. |
| The screen shows the wrong time or date | Usually after a power cut lasting several days. Correct the time — the schedule runs on the time shown on the screen. How to correct the time. |
| The screen is on, but nothing rings on time | Check whether the automatic schedule has been suspended (e.g. a lit “cancel” light or an unlit programme icon). |
| Only the hours do not strike | Check whether the hour strike has been switched off or whether quiet hours are in force. |
| One bell does not ring | Try it with its manual button. If the striker does not move: coil, cable or relay. If it moves but does not reach the bell: it needs adjusting by a technician. |
| The sound is weak or muffled, the striker “sticks” | Oil the plunger with machine oil (every 3–4 months). Check the rubber pad and the spring. |
| The striker gets hot or smells burnt | Stop operation and let it cool down. The coil may be worn — call us. |
| The motor-driven bell does not swing | Possible fault in the motor, the relay or the swing settings — a technician is needed. |
| The remote control does not work | Replace the battery and try again closer to the bell tower. |
| The Wi-Fi app shows the buttons “greyed out” | The Wi-Fi unit has lost the network: check the church’s router and internet connection. It reconnects by itself. |
| The clock hands show a different time from the screen | The tower clock needs to be synchronised from the controller’s menu. |
| After a storm or lightning strike | Check the fuses. If the screen has “frozen” or shows garbled characters, call us. |
