1. Who we are
The data controller for the website www.bells.gr is Tsitouras Bros Co. (AFOI TSITOURA O.E.; trade name “Tsitouras Bells”), Schisto Industrial Park (VI.PA. Schistou), 188 63 Perama, Greece, tel. +30 210 555 0700, email info@bells.gr.
2. What data we collect
The website has no registration or order forms, uses no analytics or advertising tools and does not create visitor profiles. We process only:
- What you send us yourself by email or by phone — e.g. your name, your role, your contact details, the church and its location, photos and descriptions of the bell tower.
- Technical access data — such as IP address, browser type, date and time — which the hosting provider records automatically for the operation and security of the website.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- To respond to your request, make you a proposal and carry out work you entrust to us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of a contract).
- For the operation and security of the website and its protection against malicious use (Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest).
- To comply with our tax and accounting obligations, when a transaction takes place (Article 6(1)(c) — legal obligation).
4. Who else has access
- Hosting provider: the website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with storage in the European Union (Ireland) and delivery through the CloudFront network. AWS acts as a processor on our behalf.
- Email provider: the messages you send us are stored with our email provider.
- Third-party content at your choice: YouTube videos and the Google map load only when you request them by pressing the corresponding button. From that moment on, Google receives data such as your IP address, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
We do not sell personal data or disclose it to third parties for advertising purposes.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers (AWS, Google) may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the safeguards of the GDPR apply, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
We keep our correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and to support your installation, and transaction records for as long as tax law requires. Technical access data is kept for a limited period.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, write to us at info@bells.gr. If you consider that the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
8. Security
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data you entrust to us.
9. Cookies
See the Cookie policy.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
