User guide: MINI MELODY

A light-coloured box with «MINI MELODY» written above a green screen. On the left it has white number buttons, two arrows ▲ ▼ and black buttons + − ↵ ESC. On the right, from top to bottom, it has a white button with an arrow, the green START, the red STOP and an orange button with a lamp. Below are 8 orange buttons M1–M8 and two buttons with a red bell. It reads «ΤΣΙΤΟΥΡΑΣ» (Tsitouras) and www.bells.gr.

Ask the digital assistant

Play a melody now (by its number)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. Find the melody’s number in the melody list, e.g. 011 = «ΧΑΡΜΟΣΥΝΟ» (festive peal).
  3. Type the number on the white number buttons, always with three digits: e.g. 0, 1, 1.
  4. Look at the screen: the top line shows the melody’s name and the bottom line shows how long it lasts.
  5. If you want it to ring for longer or shorter, press + or −.
  6. Press the green START button. The melody starts.
  7. To stop it earlier, press the red STOP button.

Shortcut: instead of 0, 1, 1 you can press 1, 1 and then ESC. You can also move from melody to melody with the arrows ▲ ▼ (next to buttons 3 and 6). For melodies you use often, it is easier to press an orange button M1–M8 (see “One-press melody”).

One-press melody (buttons M1–M8)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. Check the «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card at the end of the instructions to see which melody each button M1–M8 holds.
  3. Press the orange button you want once, briefly (e.g. M2). The melody starts.
  4. To stop it, press the red STOP button.

⚠ Do not hold the M button down. If you hold it for about 2 seconds, the melody shown on the screen at that moment is saved on it and the old one is lost.

Which melody each button M1–M8 holds

  1. Look at the «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card at the end of the instructions. For each button M1–M8 it gives the melody’s name and number.
  2. Each church may have a different card, because the melodies on M1–M8 can be changed.
  3. If you have lost the card, contact the company. You can also set the melodies you want again (see “Change the melody on a button M1–M8”) and write them on the blank card in the instructions.

The instructions have two ready-made cards. Card (1): M1 «ΕΣΠΕΡΙΝΟΣ» (Vespers) 01 · M2 «ΟΡΘΡΟΣ» (Orthros) 02 · M3 «ΔΟΞΟΛΟΓΙΑ» (Doxology) 04 · M4 «ΧΑΡΜΟΣΥΝΟ» (festive peal) 11 · M5 «ΚΡΟΥΣΕΙΣ» (strokes) 28 · M6 «ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ» (Liturgy) 34 · M7 «ΠΕΝΘΙΜΟ Μ.ΠΑΡΑΣΚΕΥΗΣ» (Holy Friday funeral toll) 06 · M8 «ΠΕΝΘΙΜΟ ΚΗΔΕΙΑΣ» (toll for a funeral) 16. There is also a blank card for you to fill in. On some lines of card (1) the number does not match the melody list. If in doubt, contact the company.

Change the melody on a button M1–M8

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. Type the number of the new melody with three digits (e.g. 0, 2, 1).
  3. Check the screen: the top line must show the right name and the bottom line the duration.
  4. Press and hold the orange M button you want (e.g. M8) for about 2 seconds.
  5. When the button’s small light (LED) comes on, the melody has been saved. Let go of the button.
  6. Press ESC to exit.
  7. Write the change on the «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card so that you remember it.

There is also a second way, from the menu, which needs a code: LIGHT → button ↵ (MENU) and the code (a code is required — contact the company) → 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) → 2 «ΚΟΜΒΙΑ ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΗΣ ΕΝΑΡΞΗΣ» (automatic start buttons). There you type the melody’s number with buttons 0–9 and it goes into the «ΜΝΗΜΗ Χ» (memory X) shown at the bottom of the screen. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to change memory. At the end, press ESC three times.

Strike the bell by hand (the buttons with the bell)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. Below M1 and M2 there are two buttons with a picture of a bell, one for each bell.
  3. Press the button of the bell you want. That bell strikes.

The instructions say that these buttons strike the matching bells and that they are useful when you compose your own melody. They also say that the buttons become active by themselves when you compose a melody. If the bell does not strike, contact the company.

Stop a melody

  1. Press the red STOP button. The melody stops.
  2. If the screen was off and the melody keeps going, press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) and then STOP again.
  3. If you are inside a settings menu, first press ESC (up to three times) to get out, and then STOP.

The «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) cards say «Με το STOP σταματούν όλα» (STOP stops everything). The Holy Friday funeral toll (006) rings continuously until you press STOP.

⚠ Inside the «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme) and «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme) screens, STOP switches off ALL the automatic programmes (Alarm). Do not press it there to stop a melody.

How long it rings: duration and speed

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. Type the melody’s number with three digits.
  3. The bottom line of the screen shows the duration (hours:minutes:seconds).
  4. Press + to make it ring longer or − to make it shorter.
  5. Press the green START button.
  6. While the melody is playing, + and − change the speed. The number 01–50 at the end of the bottom line shows the speed.

The duration is set separately for each melody, up to 59:59. The instructions do not say whether the new duration or speed is kept for the next time.

Change the controller’s time

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) to switch on the screen.
  2. If you also have an outside clock with hands, first wait until the CL figure on the 2nd line of the screen becomes 0 (CL = 0).
  3. Press the white button with the arrow (SHIFT), above the green START, and enter the operator code (a code is required — contact the company).
  4. Press button 1.
  5. Type the correct time on the number buttons: first the hour with 2 digits and then the minutes with 2 digits (e.g. 0, 9, 3, 0 for 09:30).
  6. Press ESC twice.
  7. Check the new time on the 2nd line of the screen.

Summer and winter time change by themselves, so usually you do not need to change the time. For the date or the day of the week, see “Change the date or day of the week”. To change the time at which a scheduled ringing plays, see “Change the time of a scheduled ringing”.

Change the date or day of the week

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. Press the black button with the arrow ↵ (MENU), bottom left, and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  3. Press 1 «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ ΡΟΛΟΓΙΟΥ» (clock settings).
  4. Press 1 «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΗ ΩΡΑΣ» (time setting).
  5. The flashing figure changes with + and −.
  6. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to move to the next figure, in this order: seconds → minutes → hour → day → month → year → name of the day.
  7. When you have finished, press ESC three times.

The time, together with the seconds, can also be set from here. Leap years are calculated automatically.

⚠ This is the installer’s menu. Do not change any other settings there.

Correct the outside clock (the clock with hands on the bell tower)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. See what time the hands of the outside clock show right now.
  3. Press the white button with the arrow (SHIFT) and enter the operator code (a code is required — contact the company).
  4. Press button 2.
  5. Type the time the outside clock shows: the hour with 2 digits and the minutes with 2 digits.
  6. Press ESC twice.
  7. The controller compares its own time with the one you entered and corrects the outside clock automatically.

The CL figure on the 2nd line of the screen shows the minutes the outside clock still has to move forward.

Summer / winter time

  1. Usually you do not need to do anything: the MINI MELODY changes the time by itself (winter–summer).
  2. For this to work correctly, the controller’s time and date must be correct.
  3. After the clocks change, press LIGHT and check the time on the 2nd line of the screen.
  4. If the time is wrong, correct it (see “Change the controller’s time”) or contact the company.

Automatic time correction from satellite (GPS)

This setting is done by our technician.

If a GPS receiver (GPS MODULE) is connected and the function is active, the controller corrects its time by itself every day at 04:10, based on the world reference time (UTC). Without a GPS receiver the function does not work.

⚠ The instructions warn not to change the «ΔΟΡΥΦΟΡΙΚΟ» (satellite) setting.

See the weekly programme (what rings automatically)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. Press the black button with the arrow ↵ (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  3. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 3 «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme).
  4. The screen shows one programme (Alarm): melody, hour, minutes, Set (On = active, Off = inactive), Day (days) and Month (months).
  5. There are up to 15 Alarms. To see another one, use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the Alarm number and change it with + or −.
  6. To leave without changes, press ESC three times.

In Day, 1 is Monday and 7 is Sunday. Ringings on specific dates are under «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» → 4 «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme).

⚠ Do NOT press STOP on this screen, because it switches off all the Alarms.

New automatic ringing in the weekly programme

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 3 «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme).
  3. Find an Alarm (1–15) with Set: Off that you do not need. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to move from field to field.
  4. In the first field, type the melody’s number with buttons 0–9.
  5. In the second field set the hour and in the third the minutes, with + and −.
  6. In the Set field choose On with + or −.
  7. In Day set the days “from – to” (1 = Monday, 7 = Sunday): e.g. 1–6 = every day except Sunday, 7–7 = Sunday only.
  8. In Month set the months (01–12 = all year round) and press ESC three times.

Other examples from the instructions: Month 02–11 = February to November, Month 12–12 = December only. Day is given as “from – to”. For days that are not consecutive (e.g. Wednesday and Saturday), set two Alarms.

⚠ An Alarm rings only if it has Set: On. Do not press STOP on this screen, because it switches off all the Alarms.

Change the melody of a scheduled ringing

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 3 «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme).
  3. Find the Alarm you want by its time and days (the Alarm number changes with + or −).
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the first field (melody).
  5. Type the new melody number with buttons 0–9.
  6. Make sure that Set is On.
  7. Press ESC three times.

For a ringing on a specific date: «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» → 4 «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme). There too, the melody goes in the first field, with buttons 0–9.

⚠ Do not press STOP on this screen, because it switches off all the Alarms.

Change the time of a scheduled ringing

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 3 «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme).
  3. Find the Alarm you want (its number changes with + or −).
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the second field (hour) and change it with + or −.
  5. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the third field (minutes) and change them with + or −.
  6. Make sure that Set is On.
  7. Press ESC three times.

If you want one time in winter and another in summer, you can have two Alarms with a different Month (e.g. one with Month 02–11 and one for the remaining months).

⚠ Do not press STOP on this screen, because it switches off all the Alarms.

Stop (switch off) a scheduled ringing

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 3 «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme).
  3. Find the Alarm you want to stop (its number changes with + or −).
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the Set field.
  5. With + or − set it to Off. An Alarm with Set: Off does not ring.
  6. Press ESC three times.

The instructions do not describe deleting. A programme stops with Set: Off and becomes active again with Set: On. For a specific date, in «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme), it rings only when the setting shows «ΕΝΤΟΣ» (enabled).

⚠ If you press STOP on this screen, ALL the Alarms are switched off together. Do this only if you want them all to stop.

Ringing on a specific date (feast day, patronal feast, New Year)

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 2 «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) and then 4 «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme).
  3. The cursor is on Timer. Type its number with buttons 0–9 (e.g. 0, 1 for Timer 1) and with + or − set it to «ΕΝΤΟΣ» (enabled).
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to «ΕΝΑΡΞΗ» (start) and type the start time with buttons 0–9.
  5. Go to «ΗΜΕΡΑ» (day) and type the day. Then go to «ΜΗΝΑΣ» (month) and type the month (with buttons 0–9).
  6. Go to the first field and type the melody’s number with buttons 0–9.
  7. Check that it shows «ΕΝΤΟΣ» and press ESC three times.

Example from the instructions: New Year, 01/01 at 00:00. Up to 10 dates. The instructions do not mention a year setting, so for feasts whose date changes every year, such as Easter, check the date every year. For a date not to ring, the setting must not be «ΕΝΤΟΣ» (it changes with + or −). For a festive peal, see the melody list: e.g. 004, 011, 037 «ΧΑΡΜΟΣΥΝΟ» (festive peal).

⚠ Do not press STOP on this screen, because it switches off all the Alarms.

Holy Friday funeral toll (all day)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. Press 0, 0, 6 (melody 006). The name of the funeral toll appears on the top line of the screen.
  3. Press the green START button. If your «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card shows the Holy Friday funeral toll on a button (e.g. M7), you can simply press that.
  4. The toll rings continuously for 15 minutes and then pauses for 15 minutes so that the strikers can cool down. This repeats.
  5. It keeps ringing until you press the red STOP button.

The 15-minute pause is normal. The list also has melodies 038 «Μ. ΠΑΡΑΣΚΕΥΗ» (Holy Friday) and 039 «Μ. ΠΑΡΑΣΚΕΥΗ Β» (Holy Friday B) for 1 bell, and 040 «Μ. ΠΑΡΑΣΚΕΥΗ» for 2 bells.

Tolling for a funeral

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. If the «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card shows «ΠΕΝΘΙΜΟ» (funeral toll) on a button (on the ready-made cards it is M8), press it briefly and the toll starts.
  3. Otherwise type the number of a funeral toll: 016 to 020 («ΠΕΝΘΙΜΟ 1–5», for one bell) or 021 («ΠΕΝΘΙΜΟ», for two bells).
  4. Check the name on the top line. If you wish, change the duration with + or −.
  5. Press the green START button.
  6. To stop it, press the red STOP button.

Keep the clock silent at certain hours, e.g. at night: «ΩΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet hours)

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 3 «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ ΚΑΜΠΑΝΩΝ» (bell settings) and then 1 «ΩΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet hours).
  3. The screen shows the hours, with + or − in front of each one: + = the clock strikes at that hour, − = it does not strike.
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the hour you want.
  5. Press − so that it does not strike or + so that it strikes. START also switches + to − and back.
  6. Do the same for as many hours as you want (e.g. the night hours).
  7. Press ESC three times.

This affects only the clock strikes (hours, half-hours, quarters), not the melodies of the programme.

Days when the clock does not strike the hours: «ΗΜΕΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet days)

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 3 «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ ΚΑΜΠΑΝΩΝ» (bell settings) and then 2 «ΗΜΕΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet days).
  3. The screen shows the days 1–7, with + or − in front of each one: + = the clock strikes on that day, − = it does not strike. 1 is Monday and 7 is Sunday.
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the day you want.
  5. Press − so that it does not strike or + so that it strikes. START also switches + to − and back.
  6. Press ESC three times.

How the clock strikes (hours, half-hours, quarters)

This setting is done by our technician.

The modes according to the instructions: Mode 00 = no strikes. Mode 01 = full hours only. Mode 02 = full hours and half-hours. Modes 03 and 04 = hours, half-hours and quarters, with various combinations of bells. If you simply want the clock to stay silent at certain hours or on certain days, you can do it yourself: see «ΩΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet hours) and «ΗΜΕΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet days).

Melody list and numbers

  1. The list of all the melodies is on the «ΜΕΛΩΔΙΕΣ» (melodies) pages at the end of the instructions.
  2. Each melody has a three-digit number. If you type it on the number buttons, its name appears on the top line of the screen.
  3. You can also move from melody to melody with the arrows ▲ ▼.
  4. Positions marked «ΚΕΝΗ» (empty) are free.
  5. The «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) card shows which melody each button M1–M8 holds.

Make (record) my own melody

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. Type the three-digit number of the position where the new melody will be saved. It is best to choose a position marked «ΚΕΝΗ» (empty), so that no existing melody is lost.
  3. Press the white button with the arrow (SHIFT), above START. You enter composing mode and the buttons with the bell become active.
  4. Play the melody by pressing the buttons with the bell.
  5. When you have finished, press STOP.
  6. Press START to save the melody or STOP not to save it.
  7. To try it, type its number and then press START.

Melodies can also be composed on a computer with suitable software. For this, contact the company.

Melody for swinging bells (positions 450–499)

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT).
  2. Type a number from 450 to 499 and then press the white button with the arrow (SHIFT).
  3. With the number buttons (the number of each bell), choose which bells will ring in this step.
  4. Use the arrows ▲ ▼ to go to the next step. Each step lasts 2 seconds: for a change after 20 seconds, make 10 identical steps and put the change in the 11th.
  5. When you have finished, press ESC.
  6. Press START to save.

⚠ This works only if the technician has set up bells for swinging (SWING) and has enabled positions 450–499. If you have difficulty, contact the company.

The screen went off or shows only a big clock

  1. This is normal: after 1 minute the screen shows a big clock and after 15 minutes it switches off, to save power.
  2. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT). The screen lights up and comes back.
  3. If the screen shows gibberish or “flickers”, press LIGHT again.
  4. If it does not light up at all, contact the company.

Any button lights up the screen, but the instructions recommend LIGHT. The «ΜΝΗΜΕΣ» (memories) cards call it “POWER”: «Με το POWER ανοίγει η οθόνη» (POWER turns the screen on).

What the screen shows

  1. 1st line: the name of the melody you have chosen.
  2. 2nd line: the time (hours:minutes:seconds) and the CL figure, i.e. the minutes the outside clock still has to move forward, if there is one.
  3. 3rd line: the date (day/month/year).
  4. 4th line: the melody’s duration (hours:minutes:seconds), the day of the week and, at the end, a number 01–50 that shows the melody’s speed.

Codes and keypad lock

  1. The settings are protected by a 4-digit code. The operator settings (time) open from the white button with the arrow (SHIFT) and the installer’s menu from the ↵ button (MENU).
  2. For security reasons the code is not given here (a code is required — contact the company).
  3. Without a code you can play a melody (number and START), press M1–M8 and stop with STOP.
  4. If you have forgotten the code or want to change it, contact the company.

The controller locks the keypad by itself and switches off the screen. To light the screen up again, press LIGHT.

Power cut

  1. The controller is not affected by power cuts: its clock has a battery that lasts up to 10 years.
  2. When the power comes back, press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT) and check the time (2nd line) and the date (3rd line).
  3. If the time is wrong, correct it (see “Change the controller’s time”).
  4. If you have an outside clock with hands and it shows the wrong time, see “Correct the outside clock”.
  5. If the time is lost often, contact the company.

The controller is “stuck”

  1. Press the orange button with the lamp (LIGHT). The instructions recommend this when the screen is not working properly.
  2. If you are inside a menu, press ESC up to three times to get out.
  3. If the problem continues, contact the company. The instructions do not describe a restart.

Change the screen language (Greek / English / Italian)

  1. Press LIGHT, then the ↵ button (MENU) and enter the code (a code is required — contact the company).
  2. Press 4 «ΑΛΛΑΓΕΣ ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑΣ» (security changes).
  3. Press 1 «ΕΠΙΛΟΓΗ ΓΛΩΣΣΑΣ» (language selection).
  4. With + or − choose Greek, English or Italian.
  5. Press ESC three times.

If the screen is already in another language, the menu names will be in that language. The button numbers (4 and then 1) are the same.

⚠ The same menu («ΑΛΛΑΓΕΣ ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑΣ») also has installer settings. Do not change anything else.

It did not ring on time or rings at the wrong time

  1. Press LIGHT and check that the time, date and day on the screen are correct. If not, correct them.
  2. Check the programme: «ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΙ» (automations) → «ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (weekly programme). The Alarm must have Set: On.
  3. Check that Day includes today (1 = Monday, 7 = Sunday) and Month includes the current month.
  4. For specific dates, in «ΜΗΝΙΑΙΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ» (monthly programme), the setting must show «ΕΝΤΟΣ» (enabled).
  5. If someone pressed STOP inside the programme screen, all the Alarms have been switched off. Set the ones you need back to Set: On.
  6. If only the clock’s hour strikes are missing, check «ΩΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet hours) and «ΗΜΕΡΑ ΚΟΙΝΗΣ ΗΣΥΧΙΑΣ» (quiet days): + = strikes, − = does not strike.
  7. If everything is correct and it still does not ring, contact the company.

If the controller has swinging bells (swing), after the swinging the strikers stop for a while (idle time). This is done to protect them and is normal. The instructions have no list of error messages.

⚠ The checks in steps 2–6 need a code (a code is required — contact the company).

Volume / strength of the strike

This setting is done by our technician.

The instructions mention a current setting for the strikers (strike time 10–250 mSec), which belongs to the installer’s menu.

Swinging bells (swing/SWING) and idle time

This setting is done by our technician.

Bell No. 1 works only with a striker. The others can be set up for swinging. When the swinging ends, the strikers do not strike for as long as the idle time is set, to protect them.

Automations (e.g. switching the lights on automatically)

This setting is done by our technician.

The controller has two programmable inputs/outputs for automations, e.g. switching lights on automatically, with indicator lights. The instructions do not say how they are set up.

Remote control

  1. The remote control is optional, with a range of up to 3000 m.
  2. The MINI MELODY instructions do not describe how it is used. For instructions or a fault, contact the company.

Wi-Fi, mobile phone or computer

  1. The MINI MELODY instructions do not mention Wi-Fi or a mobile app.
  2. They only mention that melodies can also be composed on a computer, with suitable software.
  3. For more information, contact the company.
